Kikikaikai (奇々怪々) is a Japanese term that refers to what is ‘strange, but captivating’.

Commissioned by the agency Wild Wild Web to be transformed into NFTs, the series depicts one of the most traditional elements in still life painting since the genre's origins, which date back to ancient times but rose to prominence in the early 17th century: flowers. In this series, they are depicted alongside common objects such as a plastic bag or a noodle box, using a distinctive visual language that may be mistakenly perceived as digital creations. These pieces reintroduce classic iconography, which is now presented in a completely different and new context.
